At First State Imports & Exports, we are a distribution, import, and management company committed to making high-quality, renowned products from around the globe accessible in the West African region. Our current focus includes importing food and beverages, automotive parts, and fitness products, with our headquarters located in Ghana.
We proudly represent three brands in the region: Lifetaste Beverages™️, AutoDash Supply Inc., and Seasoning Aide®️. These American-based companies offer unique products that are now available in the US market, and their presence in our region marks the beginning of many more brand introductions by First State Imports & Exports LLC.
Our portfolio truly stands out. We are especially proud to import Lifetaste Beverages™️, known for its acclaimed ‘hangover’ recovery drink and a series of health-focused, physician-formulated beverages. Currently, Lifetaste has launched three key products: sparkling refresher, energy drinks, and the unique plus recovery drink. The brand was introduced to the Ghanaian market on April 12, 2024, with an initial distribution agreement with Hosanna Partners Limited in September 2024, for 5,000 cases primarily of the sparkling refresher.
Despite a successful awareness campaign, Lifetaste has yet to see an increase in sales following this agreement. However, we have imported seven new SKU’s, including flavors like pompelmo, mandarin orange, and pomegranate cherry for sparkling refreshments, strawberry guava and orange for energy drinks, and mango and strawberry for plus recovery, totaling over $250,000 in inventory.
Our primary objective in the first 100 days for Lifetaste Beverages Inc. is to secure a new distribution partner capable of funding our entire inventory. This support will enable us to enhance our marketing efforts and streamline our goals.
Turning to AutoDash Supply Inc., an automotive fulfillment company based in Claymont, Delaware, our partnership is designed to bring premium OEM parts to the local automotive market. Through an ongoing marketing campaign, potential customers reach out to us, placing deposits for parts which we then order from AutoDash. For lighter parts, we utilize airfreight delivery, while heavier parts call for ocean freight. Our ambition within the first 100 days is to achieve a total order volume of 100,000 GHC weekly.
As for Seasoning Aide Inc., a premium spice company from the USA, we are in discussions to introduce their gourmet spice line to Ghana. Our goal is to research the spice market, determine viable positioning for the brand, and assess market favorability.
